{"id":4073,"date":"2020-05-30T21:23:17","date_gmt":"2020-05-30T18:23:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/montessorischool.com.ua\/?page_id=4073"},"modified":"2024-02-01T16:23:22","modified_gmt":"2024-02-01T13:23:22","slug":"kak-vybrat-montessori-sadik","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/montessorischool.com.ua\/en\/blog-montessori\/kak-vybrat-montessori-sadik\/","title":{"rendered":"How to choose a Montessori kindergarten?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>How can parents distinguish a real Montessori kindergarten from a \u201cfake\u201d &#x2753;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>There are several signs:<\/p>\n<p>Education of teachers &#8211; availability of appropriate education, confirmed by a Montessori Teacher Certificate.<\/p>\n<p>The teacher must have knowledge of the theory of the method and practice (i.e. know presentations and be able to show them).<br \/>\nIn a Montessori garden, classes should be divided into Montessori zones:<br \/>\nPractical life, Sensory, Mother tongue, Mathematics and Space (environment).<\/p>\n<p>Montessori materials should be made from environmental material and<br \/>\nbe on wooden shelves, at the height of the child, so that the child can independently pick them up and return them to their place after classes.<br \/>\nMaterials must be freely available at all times.<br \/>\nChildren in the older group can work on small mats, which they themselves unroll to work with the chosen material.<br \/>\nThere may also be several small tables and chairs in the group.<br \/>\nThe ability to work with materials in a free continuous work cycle for at least 2.5 &#8211; 3 hours. in a day.<br \/>\nThe teacher is always nearby, but never interferes with the child\u2019s work with Montessori materials.<br \/>\nProper organization of a place to sleep. Children do not sleep in cribs. To do this, they use mattresses, which, before going to sleep, children independently unroll, make the bed and go to bed.<br \/>\nThe teacher is always nearby and does not prevent the child from doing everything on his own, and helps if the child asks.<br \/>\nAvailability of a dressing room. In a Montessori garden, it is important to teach self-care skills, including changing clothes independently.
